Why do people book you?
Most clients first come to me due to feeling stuck in a style rut and are looking for help in how to best move forward. Oftentimes, due to various different reasons (from getting older to setting up their own business and now working from home) they find that what used to suit them and their needs, no longer does and they’re desperate to look and feel great in themselves once more. Helping both my male and female clients find their signature style for who and where they are now is really what it's all about.
Is there a minimum budget required for a Personal Shopping trip?
There's no hard and fast rule with budget although I do suggest clients have a minimum spend of £2,000. Quality as well as quantity are of paramount importance and I find anything under that amount doesn't get you much and would really be seen as a top-up shop amount i.e. an additional few extra pieces rather than an entire new wardrobe.
Is the Wardrobe Edit / Review essential ahead of booking in any Personal Shopping session time?
I advise all new-to-me clients book the Wardrobe Edit / Review as I find it's an extremely helpful way of getting to know you, your wardrobe and the place from which you are starting from. It also means we are able to clear any out-of-date, tired items that are no longer working for you thus making space and reorganising your current wardrobe ahead of buying up new pieces. I also recommend the review to longer standing clients as every 2-3 years, a wardrobe needs looking at again, so as to ensure we keep on top of things and are making certain each and every piece you own, is still working super-hard for you.
What are the knock-on effects of working with you?
A huge rise in self-confidence is one of the very first things clients report feeling as soon as they've worked with me. This not only effects my clients personally, but it bleeds out to their friends, family and colleagues as the way they find themselves interacting and projecting in their 'new' selves means far more positive life experiences as when we look good, we feel great! It's a simple as that. Another lovely thing to hear is the amount of compliments clients find themselves receiving - not just from friends, family and colleagues but complete strangers too! To some it might sound like it's just about clothes but what I achieve with clients goes way beyond that. Yes, you'll have a brand new wardrobe that's easy to put together and perfectly suited to you but, more than that, you'll have a wonderful sense of newfound confidence and I can guarantee you'll love reaping the benefits that creates.
What age range do you work with?
I tend to predominately work with men and women aged mid-thirties to early sixties as I find people's needs and bodies change dramatically during these years, meaning what they wore in their late twenties to early thirties suddenly is not entirely relevant, or perhaps suitable, any more. This age bracket are looking to find a new, up-to-date personal style that not only reflects how they now look and feel, it also ensures they are projecting their very best selves in whatever they do.
